Wichita Hoops, Girls Next Level Hoops Academy, and Eclipse Basketball are excited to announce Girls Next Level Hoops Academy will be merging with the Overland Park, KS based program, Eclipse Basketball. Joe Erskine, Eclipse Managing Director, and Evan McCorry, Girls Next Level Hoops Academy Managing Director, will serve as co-managing partners of the new organization which will be named Next Level Eclipse and will use the Nextleveleclipse.com domain name and e-mail address.

The merger is the combination of two highly successful girls’ basketball clubs. Eclipse Basketball, founded in 2002, is affiliated with Bluestar Basketball/USJN. Girls Next Level Hoops was founded in 2012 and is affiliated with Premier Basketball & Adidas. Both programs specialize in player development and are considered regional powers in Girls Basketball.

Eclipse Basketball & Next Level Hoops have been known for their outstanding coaching and training. The goal has always been to develop each individual as both a player and as a person, with the ultimate goal of getting some or all of their college education paid for, via an athletic scholarship.

Both clubs are extremely proud of the quality of their players, coaches, and parents. Collectively, both programs have had numerous girls go on to play Division I, Division II, Division III & NAIA college basketball enjoying successful college careers. Next Level Eclipse will have the same focus, high quality coaching, training, and the same leadership team that you have come to know from each program.

The Next Level Eclipse organization will be a true combination of equals. A joining of two extraordinary girls’ basketball organizations, very similar in size and culture, with a focus on a family environment and strengths that are highly complementary of each other. This combination will enable Next Level Eclipse to both compete at the highest level of girls’ basketball nationally and offer girls of all competitive levels a family environment within which to develop their game and accomplish their goals.

The merger of Eclipse and Girls Next Level will take effect on January 24th, 2017. At that time, Next Level Eclipse will be an organization, consisting of more than 30 youth and high school girls’ basketball teams.
